Apologies won’t do this time: Brian Ross needs to resign, or ABC needs to fire himNo, this wasn’t a mistake based on insignificant vetting. It was wishful thinking from a partisan pseudo-journalist who, for obvious reasons, immediately began scouring TEA Party sites looking for a name to match that of the shooter. Rather than, say, the Democrat voter rolls. Ross wanted to draw the connection.

ABC has issued an apology and Ross an on-air mea culpa. So what? This was the way the mainstream press reacted to the Giffords shooting, and it’s now clear this is the way they will always react until such time as they can make such a connection legitimately — particularly if in the interim all it costs them to speculate is a bit of temporary egg on their faces.

We simply cannot stand by any longer and let them get away with passing off such brazen partisanship as “news.” These are propagandists in league with the Democrats and the “progressives.” They are the disinformation arm of the democratic socialist coup happening in this country right now.

The activist press needs to be beaten back just as aggressively as politicized justices and imperial Presidents.

No more. No more. No more.
