EVERYBODY -- let me emphasize that again -- EVERYBODY already knows that you will be voting for Obama. The act of pretending to be an independent that might vote for a Republican was over long ago. You seem to be far too emotionally invested in Obama to ever abandon him.

It's a favorite tool in the wingnut toolkit to take things out of context... you'll see in all the time in Brummy and Longsnorts posts.

I guess they think its actually meaningfull in discourse... in actuality less context is always less truthful so, as you correctly point out it is a form of lying.

It's not personal, lying to bolster the self esteem is a common but bag habit :))
