That is so true!! That IS so true! THINK ABOUT IT!! "They hope to make God go away". Cut n' paste 'scholars' often make these sorts of mistakes! Are we trying to make fairies and unicorns go away!? heh heh " If our thoughts are not our own, how can we choose to believe or not believe anything?" DUH! Why not by CHOOSING!! "If there is no free will, than (sic) “free thinker” is nonsensical." NO. ALL scientists know that free will involves individual perception and not universal control. A cow munches whether he knows it or not. And the stupidity of myth and nonsense does not depend on the ultimate nature of reality or any faults in the wax ring on a toilet! LOL! "Denying free will would have terrible consequences for human society" It never has. *DUH!!* Determinism has nothing to do about the nonsense of superstition! Superstition has no foothold and no argument. DETERMINISM is a philosophical argument! NOT Genesis and NOT Joshua!! None of these things can impact against the teaching of Science to our children. Let us be very honest. The Bible is so primitive and ignorant that it has NOTHING to offer humanity. We are better than all that rape and genocide and disgusting incest where the perpetrators are called (supposedly by Yahweh)..."Just and Righteous". Who needs that terrible stuff?? Keep Science in our schools.
