But the Republicans are in bed with the rich.

A more accurate statement is that the rich are in bed with both republicans and democrats. But the rich definitely favor the democrats. You can look up to whom the wall street big wigs gave most generously in the 2008 election.

Where there are certainly some wealthy people who support republicans, there are even more ultra rich who support democrats. And why is that? Because they know that democrats will pass laws that make a barrier for entry for competition. Do you think it is an accident that GE was a huge supporter of Obama? Or that wall street execs overwhelmingly favored Obama. Do you think it's because they are altruistic magnanimous philanthropists? Or do you think that they support Obama because they think it will give them a competitive advantage and therefore make them more money?

they are less in bed with the rich e.g. They would like to repeal citizens United which is the vehicle the rich will use to undermine our democracy.

You realize most of the "Blue" states (California, NY, NJ, etc.) are also the wealthy states and that wealthy Hollywood, wealthy Manhattan, etc. are all dominated by Democrats? But you think it is Republicans that are in bed with the rich?

As for "Citizens United," you must also realize that Obama decided that he would not be part of public campaign financing in 2008 because he had the ability to materially outspend McCain (and did)?

<Obama is not my hero.>

Of course not... but in the pea brain of the nutbag if you don't hate someone they must be a hero... everything is black or white.... Hero or Villain.

Now that Romney is nominated he is a hero.... 6 weeks ago he was a villan.

Life is so simple, isn't it???

LOL

So you still can't admit he said it huh? Therefore, you will stall, hoping I forget. i didn't forget.

Why could you not admit he said it? It's clear as the nose on your face he said it. What's your problem?
