Half the ground water in the US is not potable. Lack of regulations. Fish in the great lakes are so polluted one should not too much of them. PCB's, mercury, cadmium. Millions of people are poor and cannot afford health care or school. Global wamring is devastating the world. Private industry cannot solve those problems.
