The way so many stocks are swinging around wildly from day to day, it gives short term traders great opportunities. Timing is everything. Washed out stocks or stocks in protracted down trends tend to have huge short term pops that simply fade away in a few days. Timing these bumps and fades is not that hard if you don't try to do it too often. Sitting around while the market is in a down trend can be tough, but the more patient you are, --usually-- the more "pop" can be made off the reversals. Just don't overstay your welcome-long or short!!
