The constitution doesn't provide for gay marriage. Doesn't have a word about abortion in it. It does mention property though and says it can't be taken except by due process and with just compensation.

You repeatedly state that the majority rules in a democracy. I picked a few issues you favor to point out to you that we do not have a democracy. We have a constitutional Republic in which the Constitution confers rights to the citizens. Unfortunately, liberals beleive in trampling those clearly stated rights in pursuit of their view of "the good, the true and the beautiful" to quote your statist buddy Plato.
