I don't care how you define recession - I don't think we ever really emerged from the last one. And I don't see any signs that we are headed anywhere but to stagnation. We are doing what Japan did 15 years ago and they have never come out of their doldrums. The press points to every positive sign, ignores or downplays the negative ones and if you watch the positive signs they generally fizzle out in a month or two. When something positive happens better jump on it while you can. Will
