Obama clearly has spent WAY more than anyone one else... OTOH all sorts of economists think that's the thing to do in a depression. One could easily argue that the problem isn't deficit spending in a depression, it's NOT running a surplus during the good times... let along the biggest bubble in history. Not running a surplus during the biggest bubble in history is the most incredibly stupid thing possible. Of course that was part of the Republican strategy according to some... which of course leaves them with plenty of fault of their own... so blaming Obama looks ignorant IMHO. DAK
