doubtful that i would recommend any china- and anywhere else-domiciled china equity shares during this life time

i can however recommend china-plays more familiar to elmat and you, them being

petro brazil, vale, and rio tinto :0)

also, should there be any gold mines listed in brazil, they should be considered china plays

horseback riding lessons done, erita did well, signed up for more lessons on friday after 3 days stay in paris

I see the main difference between Brazil and China as:

China has a Grand Plan <=> Brazil has no plan at all.

China needs to adjust its master and it takes a lot of work, even though bosses are a smallish clique that decides.

China has to look to all parts of its Grand Plan and its inter-effects because no one wants to lose power with the changes.

Brazil adjusts on the fly since it has an awareness of the forces around its economy fruit of the past relationships with the international community.

China disregard said forces and look only to its internal forces.

Re <<I would buy the China crash logic if I had not seen the above happen.I look at China as the US after WWII where the US had to change production from 90% war related to consumption and did it easily.Still I do not understand China and will watch closely.Let us know when it is OK to go into China stocks>>

I currently only hold 0388.HK (HKEX, HK Stock Exchange) as proxy for everything, that pays dividend

Shall at some juncture wade into individual shares, but not yet.
