The float will increase in late January or early February.

In all likelihood Amazon is going to report stellar figures for the christmas season (over $60 million in sales). This will give a big boost to the stock price. Investors will use this opportunity to dump a large chunk of its shares while maintaining a high stock price.

I think the float will more than double during the week after earnings release.
