The Colorado theater was a gun free zone.

Cinemark stipulates that guns may not be carried on their property, even if one is legally licensed. It is therefore incumbent upon the property owner to supply proper protection to the public. The company did not provide protection for it's customers nor did it maintain proper security of all access points, which the gunman took advantage of. I hope this company finds financial ruin for having such a moronic policy.

It should also be noted that the U.S. Post Offices are "gun-free" zones - that is except for law-breaking gun carriers.

In times of crisis like the Colorado shootings, people turn to the government for help.
