And you couldn't write that without government rationed electricity either?

Remember that when government takes over private enterprises that what used to be freely available has to be rationed because the costs exceed what government can afford to spend due to inefficiencies. You made fun of the idea of death panels. I hope you are laughing when they ration your life away.

Is that how busy intersections would work without (government regulation) stoplights Peter? We'd all just wait for the next compassionate person to let us through?

Having recently experience the massive electrical outage in the DC area, I was amazed at how well people respected the notion of treating dark traffic lights as four way stops. Maybe that would not hold up over time but it sure worked well for nearly a week.
