Meat,

<Being 7000 shares short and having 80 naked calls written against Dell is pure wild ass speculation and very, very dangerous gambling.>

Insert the above statement to read as follows:

Being 7000 shares LONG and having 80 naked PUTS written against Dell is pure wild ass speculation and very, very dangerous gambling.>

I see alot of DELLHEADS that believe in DELL so much they are doing the same thing I'm doing, but long!

Also, remember my DELL position is only about 1 1/2% of my total portfolio and I use my shorts as a hedge against my longs, but they have worked out much better than a true hedge the past six years as we have made money both ways! It's kind of like a trend, remember I do not fight a trend and the trend is my friend! I know that just pisses everyone off when you hear that statement, but I a firm believer in it!

Hank
P.S.-My trading has yielded 6 very very good years of income to me and my brother and we have been in the greatest bull market run ever, so I believe in staying with the winning plan! Thanks for your advise also! One other question to you, if what you are telling me I should do would be so much better for me and would make even more money for me, why are you not doing what you are preaching?

the beauty of that spread is your margin in only 25% of 5 points and your risk is next to zero.
