Your problem was that QT was using old data (supplied by the backfill source) for the previous close. This caused QT to present incorrect advance/decline data because its starts with yesterday's close as the basis for this calc.

Before you changed to Bigcharts you probably had either Yahoo or Atrade set as the backfill source and both of these sources are well known for data glitches whereas Bigcharts has always been pretty solid.

Doing a manual click on portfoilio, click on backfill all would usually also reset the data for you but has two issues:

1) you would have to do this after every QT restart.

2) This often had to be performed multiple times throughout the day

I was using this method to correct the issue but the problem recurred frequently during the day and so could never trust displayed info without first doing a backfill all .... not the way I wished to work on an ongoing basis.

In closing, I have also found the ameritrade01 (02).streamer.com to be the preferred quote server selection with the other servers NOT presenting accurate data. I check and change this if needed upon each QT restart.
