It's traded sideways within the first derivative bands for a bit over a week, now... ? There've been a couple trading opportunities resulting from awareness of that, but nothing more... Fundamental change in their position in the market will still control where this ends up... and the massive uncertainty about that in the market will continue doing what it does... Still gonna be a couple of months before the financial and competitive issues can be shaken out.. We know there's more ugliness coming in the next set of numbers... which is "baked in" and "hardwired"... The company even tried to "prep" that expectation at the meeting ? Did they succeed in "disposing" of the issue by mentioning it ? The market still may not expect to see the full quantitative impact of the "shift" they orchestrated by "stuffing the channel" to fluff the numbers in the last Q... Average volume now declining below where it was prior to the shareholders meeting... still looking like its going to "drift" for a bit without much conviction... And, atypically for the market... that actually seems pretty rational to me... I'm not seeing much that makes me want to consider doing more than trading the daily patterns... I'll tend to wait for the big questions to be resolved before thinking longer term... Risk will continue increasing over time, here, whatever side of the trade you're on, so volatility might continue to increase, generally, in the longer term, too... even with the expected flattening in the pattern happening now with the lull in interest that we're seeing in the charts ? Seems like normal chart behavior, to me. Seems we're less and less likely to be getting any useful trend information from the company, now... Might be a more significant ability to "move the market" coming in the form of independent market data that might come out over the next quarter ? I'm still a noobie here, and not at all savvy on what the sources and timing of that sort of externally supplied market information might be.... but, I think that's probably where you should look for initial directional indicators coming out of the "drift"... If not competitors reporting cycles... then "media" who track such things ?
