Saw that. So they want to encourage people to get out of their cars and take the bus. Then they decide they need to charge for parking at the park and ride lots. Are these people schizophrenic.

Hey! Are you going to be at the cabin this weekend? We'll be at our Wenatchee campout starting Friday and are thinking about a Saturday ride. If you'll be there we might head your way like Lynne and I did a couple years ago.

Let me know tomorrow. We're leaving Friday for Cashmere.

First, the city fathers put in pay meters to park your car. Next, they ban parking the car almost anyplace close to anything, so that parking lots for pay are the only thing available. Next, the charge for parking your car downtown to shop is between $20-$24 or more each 8 hours, killing off the incentive to come downtown for most folks.

Next the city fathers mandate busses because they tout park n' rides with free parking. Now they want to charge for the park n' rides, plus charge more for the bus fare....

No wonder shopping centers like Kemper Freeman's Bellevue Square and Lincoln Center are doing so well. The parking is free and the walking is easy....

The heck with Seattle.....even if it was one of our favorite places to go....
