OK, Steve, thanks for the thoughts.. We have Shane, under various guises, on this thread, who has been a VLSI gourmet in the past, so I think we can get some info.. I am partial to the telecom aspect of the chips, so VLSI has the front door at the moment...LSI trying to get aboard.
As for the SEA turmoil, I think it will last longer than we would like, but might not have consequences as serious as the worst scenarios portend... I'm picking up a few Dow options (DJX on the CBOE), just in case the "Japan Cascade" gets underway, with a sequential banking system collapse.. but so far it appears the authorities have contained the storm..
