Leviticus they used two goats One was sacrificed to please Yahweh. The other was driven into the desert carrying all the sins of the tribe and allowed to escape. Today this "escape" goat is a "scape goat". The goat takes the wrongdoings of others and suffers in the wilderness of social condemnation. Thats a plausible story, didn't know that and they're looking for scape goats & sacrifices ever since , unfortunately they became the scapegoats themselves and targets for the followers of Christ, all a natural progression , part of God's plan you know . Another factoid : There used to be so many lobsters washed up on the shores of Maine over a century ago , they had to pass laws prohibiting feeding your servants & prisoners lobster more than 3 times a week! Great day in the markets a classic feeding frenzy and perfect example all day long of greed & fear operating on mass scale .
