I dragged up the real numbers on hedge funds, don't have them handy. Global hedge funds are HUGE, much bigger than you think. Just figure out what you can do offshore with no restrictions making 50-70-100% returns for 15 years, the second biggest is up 70% this year, and you get the jist of it. And buffett and templeton are widely advertised to be in bonds now, huge insider selling at microsoft.
