Real doctors do make sacrifices most of us aren't willing to make -- and that is why they should be well compensated if you want them to continue doing it. Contrary to your convoluted view, most real physicians make those sacrifices with the expectation of being appropriately compensated at some future date. If you take that away, you will not have enough physicians to take care of the patient load.

This illustrates a fundamental economic concept. Can you guess what it is?
