<<Where will Werth fit in, with Harper in the right field slot?>> He will move to center, i believe, there is no OF position Harper can't handle--fellow there now only has 2HRs and 17 rbis.
When ever i see Pence named by some writer--i say "idiot"!. Phils would be idiots to move Pence--he is still young and he is not a free agent next year.
Victorino season so far has knock down his asking price, plus Victorino said he will take less money from Philly to stay here--he believes he wouldnever have had a career if the Phils hadn't given him the chance no one else would--he is an emotional guy.
To trade Blanton or Victorino team MUST demand sellers market premium--in each case, top line prospect prospect:CF/3rd or 2nd . Glavis could play 3rd, i am sure, he has a great arm----but he is are future 2nd base man or SS. i hope his back is O.K. Fontenot made ANOTHER disastrous, letting 2 unearned runs on Hamels, and Hamels--Hamels walked 6 tonight.
This Sheets , if this keeps up, is a locked for comeback of the year award--his career was OVER--hadn't pitched in Majors in 18 months. Braves called him up out desperation--and he is now, after 3 games 3-0 with ERA of 00.50. He's 34--amazing--did he come up with a new pitch?
One, i rather the Phils do NOTHING if they can't get real real value in return in terms of prospects or #1 draft picks

After the debacle in Atlanta, Phils now have just about 36hrs to be SELLERS--my list be Victorino/Pence/Blanton and Polanco--i simply believe pitching is the number #1 premium position in baseball-- have mediocre pitching staff in the MLB, you are out of it i my opinion--we are in the era of Pitching Rule--i know of no can't miss pitcher in the Phils minors at this time--they have several maybes, between 19 and 22 years old.
There are no legitimate rumours, so they may not be able to make a trade for REAL VALUE--but they coud get in major 3-way trade at the last minute----but it doesn't look good.
Teams in NL that be candidates be Reds.Pirates and Cards--that division up for grabs--but Reds are hot, they may want Victorino.(Maybe they can have a deal including Madsen with Reds:)
Nats are now saying they are going to re-evaluate the "shut-down" of Strasbourg.

Jerry i have run all the data, including the minor leaqures, and bottomline i look a see does Amaro have a plan to have a dangerous a solid contender in 2013---i look ahead, i will NOT recat now for people that of zero idea what the game chess is---BOTTOMLINE is this; IF, Amaro sign B.J.Upton and Originally a Phil(Michael Bourne) as free agent over the winter, this deal would be brilliant. Bourne would take center and Upton RF and keep all they got already. 21 year old Catcher Joseph is listed as the 2nd best position player prospect in all the minor leagues by Magazine/ internet site "Baseball in America"

Fact is we had everything o the line to will WS in 2011, and got hit by fate of facing the in of seasons hottest team--we lost 1-0 in the 5th game and Howard on last play had blown up his achilles tendon.
In 5th game both out 2011 and 2012 seasons were destroyed.
The Window is now closed---you have to move hard a fast and look to restructure---those that will now screaming fpr Amaro's head i believe don't see Amaro has made a potentially excellent chess move to get this team back on track as early as NEXT YEAR----if we can get Upton and Bourne over winter--Amaro did a great job.
Brown now has 2 months to reveal can he play defense---- he appears that he has NO ability to move in the right directopn on the crack of a back, and letting outs be hits, without getting error, because he didn't even get leather on the ball that was catchable.
i hate sports talk shows, and Phils sports channel will be just a lot of screaming.
Baseball is game, a fate plays a role--Amaro was dealt a brutal play on Cards starting in game 5 with Cards(who did Win the World Series over a TOUGH TOUGH Rangers team--the 6th game being one the best games in baseball history)
Regards Victorino, he gave us 8 years and will be forever loved by Philly.
Pence, well w2e can't say, i am sure he was hurt---but they were beginning to doubt his ability to field RF.
In getting this kid Joseph, we may have gotten a major steal--how? Because of Posey, he has NO future at catcher with Giants.
He now can replace ruiz in time or perhaps pull a Bryce Harper and go to OF--he is a power hitter. later, jerry, the world has NOT ended---i remainj a Phils fan!!!!
Pence is shocked, but i can see why

Phillies officially announced Lee has been REMOVED from trade market--this right after the Victorino and Pence deals--so we can surmise Lee was in the brew until the last.
Uless there is a deal done not yet announced--we hav finished--only thing that might happen is hear Blanton was traded to Orioles for a prpspect Phils want but Orioles will NOT! surrender.(largely because they have falen to far behind Yanks--they are desperate for another starting pitcher)) Max
