The last time I was in West Africa they had plenty of water. Yes they could go there but I doubt there's much money in drilling for water. Certainly there will be drilling especially with the flow through days coming up. How much is another story. Off shore many companies have already got their monetary backing and so their programs will go ahead.

MDI drills more than just mining holes I think.

Don't they drill structural holes on land set for development as well?

Things in MDI's favour:

-Book value is $11
-they do acquisitions with cash to avoid diluting the float
-there are only 10 million shares out
-Midland Walwyn maintains there 2.30/share in earnings for fiscal 99

I was a buyer at 20.05 today.
