I.e. freedon of the people to choose.

Socialism under democracy requires massive and ultimately unaffordable levels of govt. Expansion of govt always reduces the freedom of the people to choose.

So how's that gonna work out ? even if the people vote for it, does that make it a good thing ?

You constantly raise this point, but you never have explained why income inequality is inherently bad. There should be a strong corelation between a person's contribution to the economy and their receipts from that economy. Only Marxists want to remove that link. You regularly deny that you are communist, why do you want a policy from the Communist Manifesto?
