Right wingers don't think anything can be done because they don't know how to do it, or don't care about other people. Most of us do not believe that govt exists to provide for our every need. It is not that govt can't do it, it is that govt shouldn't do it. You seem to want govt to run every aspect of your life, and of mine. Americans used to value self-reliance, pride and self-respect. None of those values mean anything to you, as long as uncle sam takes care of you.

Feelings....woah woah woah FEEEEELINGS... Cliches..check. Labels...check. Rational justification of universal healthcare...not so much. Your examples suck, BTW, especially Britain. Maybe you should check out the horror stories of the NHS. The Canadians accept long waits for surgical procedures and finding a doctor in exchange for pretty decent routine care, good for them, but then they have us to go to in emergencies. Denmark, New Zealand, Australia......our populations are apples and oranges. "Every western democracy has universal health care but us, because we are uncivilized and stupid." So go.
