But science?? Isn't that just a belief?? Well on one level scores of creationists now have chosen to adapt & adopt new names with engineering science connotations of Intelligent Design , shows that a subtle peaceful conversion has been at work . A subtle change has been effected and was always inevitable .Small steps at a time for their resistance was always futile , one of the early main arguments of design was that irreducible complexity which has been totally debunked over & over again now . An ongoing needless fight since the 1920's , everyone must must remember that Fundamentalist Christianity did manage the effective outrageous suppression of teaching evolution in most of the public schools until the full late reintroduction in the 1960s. What is noteable since then is the gradual distancing from the term creationist which is replaced more often with "design proponents" , the original term Intelligent Design was taken & inspired by NASA . Little steps at a time , these lagging horses are being led to the river of scientific truth & away from such lofty meaningful disputes as whether to accept the literal interpretations of a virgin birth or not .When they decided to step into the arena of science & accepting the origin, age & vastness of the Universe , the Design argument also deliciously opens up wide the doors that such a Designer (or Designers) would not be anything resembling that deity they worship , in fact such a theory would just as easily embrace some some super Aliens behind it all just as well . But when & where & how did they evolve ? Nanu Nanu . ( and what if the Designer turned out to be a liberal ? lol)
