FWIW, I clearly don't have the expertise to answer these questions. For 20 years out -- who knows? My bets would be on tech/bio-tech, but other than the big names I don't know these sectors.

This is a drillers/oil services board. For the next 18 months or so, these are good bets, IMHO, although there may be volatility along the way.

For the long haul I hold major oil (XON MOB AN) and an S&P 500 index fund. This is the part of my portfolio that stays the course as my tech and biotech stocks bounce around and cause me to pull my hair out. I like MOB with the 2.9 percent yield and 4.6 percent 5 yr dividend annual growth, IMO
