No, government has different objectives than corporations. Yes, corporations have to earn their funding by providing a product or service that people willingly pay for. Govt compells funding with the threat of imprisonment. We are the government in a democracy. So I assume that you means that you support the laws, voted by majorities in over 40 states which prevent gay marriage. After all those states are democracies, and that was the will of the majority. The tyranny of the majority is generally followed by the tyranny of a dictator, which is the logical end state of the liberal dream.
