I don't know how things will evolve and how life will be in a hundred years, but for starters I'd like to see more decision powers going towards localities. Some more decentralization. If some community wants to make abortion illegal in their neck of the woods - go for it. Those who believe it should be legal can pack up and take their tax dollars to another town or village, a couple of miles away. If they want a big strong police force - or just a couple of cops - that's fine, let them just remember that they must keep residents happy, or else face losing them, with people moving out.

Would work better, IMO, rather than every little thing being decided by big important politicians, sitting in a faraway capital.
