>> What about the Little Ice Age? That made Greenland uninhabitable?

There are big trends and little trends.

The little ice age is fact. It is called little because.. well, because it was little.

The little ice age did not significantly affect sea levels or the ice mass that used to sit on top of Chicago.

>> But if you honestly believe what you are saying, you of all people should be a GW alarmist

Not really. I am a global warming realist. The planet has had multiple ice ages. The apex of the last ice age was 18,000 years ago and has been warming ever since. It will continue to warm until the start of the next ice age.

>> You're just conveniently picking out the data as it reinforces your ideology rather than look at the science - all the science

What am I missing?

>> If the world is heating up, why in gawds name should we not be concerned that man is speeding up the process!

The human population of 7+ billion is affecting the planet in so many negative ways. I am not convinced this is a priority. Also, I have yet to see a credible proposal.
