Can you tell me at what point in your life did you choose to like the opposite sex? I never made this choice. Nor did anyone else that I know of. And it should be obvious that if it was a matter of choice, many many gays would have chosen to become straight, if only to avoid all the hardship they face. Numerous studies have shown that being gay is not a matter of choice and there is now evidence that brain structure gay men more closely resembles that of straight women than straight men. So yes, that statement is very paranoid.

PS Please don't bother with brain plasticity arguments. If it was possible, many gays would have been "cured" by now.
