I also think that in most cases, a business owner is foolish to exercise that right against large groups of people. i spoke with my nephew this afternoon about this today...i called him because he is a devout christian who is also a missionary in china....(visiting the states for about a month) his opinion was that the baker was wrong in denying the sale of the cake to the gay couple...i won't go into all of his reasoning here (including scripture references) but basically his take was you don't win 'hearts and minds' by coming across like a pharisee (the guys who wanted to stone the prostitute because of her sins, JC wouldn't allow it)
