Thanks, Apple12. I agree with you on the differences between Intel and Cymi. But we need to firmly remember, the world is entering into an information era, it needs more and more sophisitucated chips. Remember Moore's Law ? Without the success of Cymi, I can say the chips will not go to 0.25 or below. So Cymi is truly sitting in the bottleneck of the world's semi-conductor industry. If I am Sadam Hussein of Iraq, I might want a piece of Cymi (or the control of cymi) just for the leverage of my negoatiation with U.S. (It's a joke, but I am trying to make a point here). Cymi is a credible company and it's very important. All the B.S. about inventory or floor problem are just B.S., what can I say. Their business can last years to come, they may have a huge price advantage once they get the industry hooked; they can definitely have huge revenues from factory service (to teach fab people how to use DUV Stepper, etc.), maintenance, and spare parts. Lasers don't last forever, they have to be replaced every 1,000 hours (?). The tech people please correct me if I am wrong. People failed to see all those bright spots. When people see the stock price fall, normally automatically assume "there is something wrong with the business." But in this case, it may just be a share over hung problem, together with a correction for previous run-up, together with minor mishap by the management, together with the general nervousness and weakness of the whole sector. And, there may be somebody among those short sellers who might have another agenda too, who knows. The longs should have the confidence and patience !
