So let's talk this through...say two couples are really good friends are into steady intimate relationship. BTW, before we go further, you should know this is not realistic based on numerous commune cults that have fallen apart. In other words, the situation you seem to be afraid of has already been practiced many times and has extinguished itself over and over again. But I digress. Marriage, as any lawyer will tell you, is a legal contract. Like any contract, you have rights and obligations and protection under the law. Anyway, let's say that you have such a case and the couples decide to formalize that relationship by pooling all their material and personal resources together and share life with each other. They write up their prenup agreement and choose to form a union. What exactly is your problem with that?
