HI Robert!

I always enjoy your post and consider you as one of the great teachers
here on SI. When i started with stocks i had no system and just read
a lot and did well in this bull market until the correction. IN the last 2 month i started more with TA(got MSWIN and Q+) and learned a lot but became less and less succesful with my trades. I made a lot of mistakes(also traded more whereas it took days to weeks to decide on a stock) and i tried to analyze them too. Right now i decided that
i was too quickly getting into fancy indicators like Insync, Gann fans etc without being really secure in reading a simple price, vol, MA chart.I have the plan to just train on simple charts and observe the volume and the price, maybe Bollinger bands and one or two MA's. Do you think that this is a good exercise? I try to sit in front of a printout (i'll do it away from the computer) and ask what "story" are price(especially opening and closing price) and volume are telling me.
Any comments or tips?

Stefan
