i can look at ibm and gerstner when he arrived and brought changes or even palmer at dec, which has taken a while to turn around. both changed mgmnt when they arrived bringing in fresh blood. asnd looks much like dec mgmt prior to palmer, a founder in charge who comes from the technical side.

unlike dec, asnd is in a growing market, and leads in certain areas. also during dec's darker days, there were also constant talks of a buyout.

i believe there would be more concern if the r&d people, engineers, sales,.... left than the current top mgmt. the current company may have become to large for mory, and maybe he recognizes this by the new cfo. but more outside mgmt needs to be acquired.

we can both look forward to the coming year and wait and see which companies become consolidated.

on your comment about mgmt, i knew it was no ringing endorsement of current mgmt, but i wanted to hear your idea more fully and to focus on mgmt.
