"Since its not likely I will read the book of Job why don't you tell me what you mean."

That's right. You don't read books....do you?

Ted, you know the story of Job, don't you?

After suffering the worst (due to a bet between God and Satan, which Job was unaware of), Job was crying out to God, wondering why He has forsaken his good and faithful servant.

Moral of the story: Sometimes s--t happens to good people. It's important to keep the faith no matter what.

Like I said, I don't regard Rick Perry to be a "good person." In fact, he's far from it. But taunting actual good and faithful people when God seemingly doesn't answer their prayers is quite a dick thing to do, don't you think?
