also insurance companies have different accounting due to the fact in their insurance business they are paying out long dated obligations and investing the money to accomplish this. However, the large firms have divisions that are operated more along the lines of asset managers.verinteresting field. If anyone is a "transfer pricing" specialist ....... please drop me a line.

I personally would add that to make things worse the "2 to 3% GDP growth under optimal conditions" is actually not growth at all but inflation.
