Perhaps, but the market reached a cluster of minor VPs and turned south, and the near term indicator gave a sell signal two days ago... at this point, this is still just a pull back in an ongoing up trend, but if the model gives a sell signal during this sell off, then this market may go further south... I suspect this kind of selling could run into next Wednesday when the near term indicator could be set up for a buy signal... however, by that time the model could already trigger a sell signal... this market is extremely choppy and so we have to be nimble and quick about it... respectfully, I think getting married to any one position these days is not a safe idea, but that's just me...

Big bullish reversal for the U.S. Dollar today, it's very tempting to buy...

I really don't want to be short friday and I don't want to be long over the weekend. The hedge gives me the best of both. Next week I will unwind in favor of one position over the other. Maybe. Maybe not.
