Larry: Thanks for your post. I'm pretty sure that the people who have invested in the DDs know that economic recovery has not been proven; they're speculating that it may be possible to economically recover PMs and that one day economic recovery will be demonstrated. Any investment involves speculation; for instance, despite its blue-chip status, buying GM involves speculating that the company will continue to sell cars at the same or higher level of profitability and that the fundamentals of the US economy and elsewhere of importance will not deteriorate, among other things....we have no absolute proof that the foregoing will be so.
