Aloha MTNRES...I've done a little comparison between NDB and my present broker Freeman Welwood for Canadian stocks. Results follow:

No of Shares 1000 2000 5000 10000

Stock Price: $.04

Freeman Wel: $35 $36 $39 $44
National DB: $50 $70 130 $230

Stock Price $.50

Freeman Wel: $46.50 $59 $96.50 $159
National DB: $50.00 $70 $130.00 $230

Stock Price $.90
Freeman Wel: $56.50 $79 $146.50 $259
National DB: $50.00 $70 $130.00 $230

Stock Price $1.00
Freeman Wel: $79 $104 $179 $304
National DB: $50 $70 $130 $230

It would appear that for Canadian stocks less than $1.00, Freeman Welwood has the better commission schedule. Once the stock goes over $1.00 NDB comes out on top. I may wind up with two brokerage accounts. NDB for OTC and Canadian stocks over $1.00, and Freeman Welwood for Canadian stocks priced under $1.00.

Food for thought,
Bert
