HI richard,

Yes I saw that also.

Rtec has a nice niche that seems to not bump up against Klac.

I've owned the stock before but do not now.

As these smaller nodes develope Rtec will benefit as will Klac.

Cohu is selling pyramids to Intc for their new processors and matrix to the mobility chip makers.

The new gravity feed handlers Jupiter and Saturn appear to be gaining acceptance.

That is the new critical revenue stream that must give Cohu the longer term bright future.

The key here is to take market share from multitest.Cohu has a unique gravity handler that will outperform all others in speed and thus cost of test.

The key is for the old already depreciated gravity handlers to get so old they are no longer supported.

Replacement and Capex will drive new revenue to Cohu.

Cohu's niche has been logic - micrprocessors and graphics which need thermal control during the test.

The mobility and auto have been the new applications - but do not require the pyramid. The mobile phones have been utilizing Matrix and the auto appears to be using the older Castle.

Donahue said the castle were used for automotive - which has now moved test temperatures to higher test levels.Castle's vertical storage / heat chamber is suited well for higher test temps.

When the test contractors finally get to test the Taiwanese fabs efforts into 22/14 nm we'll see some nice business got to Cohu also.

Good to hear from you - hope all is well.

Bob
