Yep. Unprecedented in any prior "Bull Market", we've witnessed a mass exodus of individual investors, ongoing with only brief interruptions since 2008 (tracked by Zero Hedge monitoring almost constant outflow from equity mutual funds).

The departure of the stabilizing influence of these largely LT B&H investors has made it easier for illegal pools to mount bull or bear raids on target stocks, and ETFs, driving prices thru key stops to clean out position holders. The SEC has turned a blind eye to this for over 10 yrs. With essentially zero enforcement, we've seen the criminal activity become more and more brazen.

This system cannot be reformed. It's become more profitable for the corrupt elite that runs it to destroy than create wealth. This can end only one way as it has so many times before in the long history of human folly:

Total systemic collapse accompanied by the closure of the markets and banks for an extended period. If you want risk having everything you being converted into Tsy Bonds? Then, leave it all with financial intermediaries like banks and brokers. They'll take care of everything.
