I would take ADM over SPLS, too. I like that ADM is continually growing revenues. With proper oversight, one would expect their net profit margins to find more growth, too. So the question is can they translate the top line down to the bottom line. I know this is one of the main metrics that bruwin looks at when discussing stocks on this thread.

I think the 2 year downtrend in JOY says a lot. I wouldn't be in a hurry to buy, simply based on the trend. However, that's different from the discussion on whether or not it belongs in the group portfolio.
