Hey Bill, here's what you asked; And show me the part where it says he can take a deduction for this year's Olympics on past years' taxes If he has been able to take deductions for training the horse and boarding the horse and feeding the horse and providing medicine to the horse in anticipation for of the Olympics, then YES he has been able to take deduction in prior years for taking the horse to the Olympics!!!!!!! And geez, yes thanks though - another great reason for the need to see those returns.
