Cape Coral looks like paradise compared to slow growing Highlands or Putnam Counties. Most of the lots have at most paved poorly maintained roads without utilities and are being recylced with nobody buying the tax certificates. Eventually tens of thousands of lots will be in the hands of the county. The stupid bubble impacts these areas even more as they don't have the constant equity and income inflow from out of the area that you do in Lee County.
