At the risk of identifying myself as an MD.... What is an MD?

<<When you put an MD in front of a word processor, you damned well better have the simplest one in existence, or you'll lose 'em every time>>

I resemble that remark. To prove your point, THIS MD refuses to learn excel because, while it is incredibly better than lotus 2.1, I KNOW Lotus 2.1 cold and am NEVER going to switch to another spreadsheet. For that matter it pissed me off to swtich from Word 1.x to WP for windows years ago and NOW I am told I must go back to Word for Windows. Aggh. And you programmers thought YOUR life was hard (G).

Actually, I see that happening also. Microsoft gets on the bandwagon loaded for bear. They produce their own Java suite -- I have to believe this is already underway -- and try to compete on an equal footing with the rest of the world. It may work, and that suites me find. The main thing is there will be competition from IBM and others that will have a fighting chance. I highly recommend that anybody who has not done so watch the videos under eSuite at www.lotus.com (or at least listen to the audio with a choppy background video if you are on 28.8)
