Well, they were Asensio's thoughts, and I think we both know he has a slight tendency towards exaggeration. <G> I believe he is no longer allowed to post on SI, so I thought those without the benefit of AOL might like to read his comments.

I sort of like a core position and a trading stake. Don't try to get the top tick or the bottom tick, and be patient. The core position prevents a "loss" from missing the big move, the trading position enables me take advantage of the price fluctuations, and reduces risk IMO.I have had a number of long stocks that have gone down during my holding period, but I always seem to manage a % or 2 profit using this method. Of course we all have to trade the way with which we are most comfortable.

FWIW, it looks like I didn't win the trading contest. 23.49% profit in a month just doesn't cut it over there. Heck, I bet I'm not even in the top twenty. Oh well, I'm keeping it for next month's pick.
