Best article I've read in BusinessWeek, lately:

businessweek.com

According to BusinessWeek, the best company board members own significant shares of the company's stock, are active and critical participants in determining the company's strategy and are independent. Their primary duty is to represent the interests of all their shareholders.

Where does Zenith stack up on the list of "the Best & Worst Boards"? Suggest you check out Zenith's Annual Report at zenith.com to decide for yourself.

According to the article, ZE needs someone similar to me. Over $500,000 worth of ZE shares owned, active, critical and independent.

If elected, I will work to represent all ZE shareholders. Be forwarned, I'm the "raptor" sort. I'd go for the jugular to propel Zenith to the top of the CE pack.

Bob , I think we are starting to build a group of shreholders who
would be willing to their bit to help ZE along. I already push ZE
to my family ( my sons think it is a dead stock ) & bring it into con-
versation to co-workers , some who are heavy investors. They
are watching for a move in ZE stock to possibly jump in.
I buy ZE products , tvs & vcrs , & reccomend them as the oppor-
tunity presents itself. I always look to for Zenith products as I wander
thru electronics stores & departments. All this requires very little
effort & I am sure others do the same thing. I would be more than
willing to do all this in a more formal format in coordination in my
fellow shareholders. We could keep ZE alerted to our findings but
just as important let the retailors hear from us directly instead of
just going thru ZE. It would probably carry as much weight to inform
them directly. A retailor such as Circuit City would be a snap because
of DIVX. I would assume that all major stores have web sites which
would make communications easy. As always , I believe in contacting
companies at the highest level to bring about the quickest results.
All of this being said , I think your comment 'with a bit of help from
Zenith' to be imperative to our success.Hopefully , we will get some sense of their thinking on shareholder involvement in the coming weeks.
There is an interesting article in todays Barrons on cable modem
boxes( no ZE) & another one on Comdex which states DVD was the focus find for this particular reporter. Both can be accessed at www.Barrons.com. I will also stick my neck out & predict major
moves in ZE stock by Feb. 1. see ya , T

p.s. the submit version of this posts shows it broken into paragraphs
not all this bunchup up . sorry
