re SSL, do not forget that a U.S. listing very likely means that trading in put and call options will follow.

i do still like the ssl-wta. just taking note that they will have new competition from calls.

Thanks for confirming my thoughts.
Last time I spoke to SSL they were still contemplating to also list the warrants in the US. I should probably follow up on this.

Another one, I bought a little more on the warrant side, is BPV.TO, BPV.WT ($0.50, Oct 7/14). Stock is trading at $0.50, warrants priced around $0.20 and up for sale. PG.TO is RTO'ing their royalty sub into BPV and so BPV is essentially converting to a royalty co.
They'll do a 4 for 1 consolidation, then issue post-consolidated shares with a warrant attached for current shareholders.
Not a lot of visibility on the post transaction entity metrics, here's a brief description of the royalty properties from PG's website
'The Company holds a portfolio of royalties including a 1.5% royalty in Newmont's Emigrant Springs Deposit that is currently under construction with production expected in mid-2012, a 1% NSR on the Buffelsfontein Mine and the Waste Solutions project in the Republic of South Africa, a 1% NSR on certain mining claims which comprise the Thunder Creek Deposit of the Timmins West Mine, as well as 1% NSR on Yamana Gold's Gualcamayo gold mine'.
And BPV has around $17MM cash.
FWIW
PS - hope the hand is doing better!

Interesting to note that Franco-Nevada owns SSL shares.
